Our Rome map as we often saw it. With a few GPS waypoints..
At the airport we head to Rome..
on the train. Fast but seems safe.
The main transportation risk is crossing the street.

There are more handbags than people in Rome.. usually on the sidewalk.
First morning we walked over towards Saint Peter's Square (Actually Piazza San Pedro is round...)
We did not get in any lines to see inside, as we were headed for a walk up the hillside towards Trastevere.
