We went to Mabul Island, off the East coast of Borneo, Malaysia

We drove 300 Km (On the LEFT! - like Britain) across the island

Borneo (now part of Malaysia) is the 3rd largest island in the world, in the center here

We flew from China to Kota Kimbalu, Borneo

We drove across Borneo in 2 days, to Semporna.

Then we boated to Mabul Island and Sipadan. Sipadan was Jacques Costeau's "Favorite Island"

Mabul: We stayed here in "Uncle Chang's", surviving on rice, Chicken appendages, an occasional peanut butter sandwich.

AND Tiger Beer!

Sipadan=Incredible! Dozens of huge turtles, 100,000 colorful fish, a school of JackFish we snorkled into the middle of..

...probably the best snorkling/diving in the World.. White is the beach, surrounded by the reef.
