Sami Selio won the Pole position with his fast time trial runs. Out around the starting pylons, Sami is out in front.

Marit Stromoy, the only woman driver, looks at her boat being repaired after a crash last race.

Her boat gets a new carbon-epoxy skin section, 3 days before the race.

But a different disaster struck! Her boat engine failed, and after a few minutes a fire started onboard.
Marit had to open the canopy and dive into the water! Here her engine is covered with extinguisher foam.

Each team has a display showing the timing system data. Here on lap 63 of 65, Sami Selio is 2.14 seconds ahead of Jay Price.

The checkered flag comes out with Sami just over 1 second ahead!
